Sarasota Yacht Center floats new GM
Brandy Marine has named a new GM for the Sarasota Yacht Center.
Jim Wasilewski was named GM of operations at the full-service marina, boat storage and yacht-repair boat yard.
Wasilewski previously served as yard foreman for the nearly 100-year old landmark facility on Whitaker Bayou. Capt. Bruce Blomgren, president of Brandy Marine announced the appointment.
The nine-acre Sarasota Yacht Center offers wet and dry storage, hauling services with a 70-ton travel lift and a 20-ton forklift plus a full portfoilio of yacht services including engine and fiberglass repair, remodeling, hull extensions, painting, detailing and interior design.
Brandy Marine Inc. is a Florida-based international consultant/developer/operator of marinas and related waterfront marina villages.
